I recently had an unforgettable stay at Villa Dr Szontagh Est. 1876 in the Tatras. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the owner and made to feel like I was visiting with friends. the building itself has been beautifully renovated, preserving its old-style charm while offering modern conveniences. the family suite I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped bathroom. the view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with a friendly gesture or helpful advice. the location of the hotel was excellent, close to the main road and electric railway station, yet in a peaceful area. the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and I particularly enjoyed the option of drinking tea or espresso coffee at any time. Villa Dr Szontagh Est. 1876 provided me with one of the best hotel experiences of my life, on par with the Japanese ryokans I've visited. It's a quality place that offers relaxation and enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings.

I recently stayed at Villa Dr Szontagh and it was an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, with a grocery store and restaurants right outside the door and the train station just a few steps away. The wellness area was fantastic and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

A posh historic house with stunning mountain views. Plenty of outdoor activities to keep me active and entertained. The rooms were comfortable and had a touch of class. Loved exploring the nearby national parks and caves.
Oh, just a small thing - no wifi signal and freezing cold rooms. But who needs warmth and internet when surrounded by splendor?
